In each slot there will be around 20 students, which will be divided in three subgroups (gravity, moon surface, rockets). Each group will work on that subject for 20 mins and then exchange. I will briefly describe the content of each group, for what we have thought until now.

GRAVITY :

  • mass/weight, to explain this difference we will make them JUMP forward and we will show them how much further away they would have jumped on the moon.
  • inertial mass, to explain this we have a vacuum tube.

MOON SURFACE:

  • moon rockets
  • creating craters using magical chemical ingridients we will create a kind of jelly that they have to model to recreate an image of a crater as shown in a poster.
  • shadows, how can you understand how deep is a crater only watching a shadow?

ROCKETS:

  • sunny: outside, they will decorate and model their rockets in order to make them as fast as they can and they will  launch  them.
  • rainy: inside, they will build a baloon rocket and they will launch it.

We have two rooms + the park ouside if it's sunny. So in principle the three activities will take place separately.
